Sree Vijayananda Vidyapeedom School, located near the famous Parthasarathy Temple in Aranmula, created as a memorial in the name of Sri Vijayananda Gurudevan, within no time has attracted the attention of the general public. Our School is striving to resist the degradation of morality which affected our society in general and students in particular which has affected the public life of the nation in general and especially in the field of education. The mission also envisages instilling a feeling of pride about the nation and its several millennium old culture in the young minds of our students and their relatives. We also endeavour to inclulcate an understanding in the minds of wards the meaning of Axiom, Mother, Father, Guru, and finally the Almighty God. We also, have indentified the need for growing a glowing national pride in young minds of our students, such that after graduation they will be value added, good natured and mighty sons of the nation. More over the object of the institution is to give its students ample facilities for the harmonious development of head, heart and hand and to turnout men who will be assets to society. The institution aims at helping the students not only to receive secular education but also to become active, self-reliant and self-established – to build up their character on national lines and in keeping with national ideals.

The Chairperson of theTrust is Shri. Kummanam Rajasekharan is a renowned social worker and the FormerHonorable Governor of Mizoram. The other trustees are well known social workers and socially spirited individuals with a good track record in the social sector. Sri Ajayakumar Valluzhathil is the School Manager.
